Jenn Lim is the bestselling author of Beyond Happiness: How Authentic Leaders Prioritize Purpose and People for Growth and Impact and a Top 50 global keynote speaker known for her work on modern leadership, wellbeing, and connection. Long before "company culture" became a buzzword, she helped pioneer the integration of purpose, profit, and people at Zappos and later, as CEO, led Delivering Happiness—cofounded with the late Tony Hsieh—from a bestselling book into an Inc. 5000 company and global movement.
In her book Beyond Happiness, Jenn draws on her decades of experience in culture, leadership, and strategy to offer a practical framework for sustainable workplaces and modern organizations. Her work shows that leadership isn't defined by title, but by how we show up every day. And how aligning purpose, people, and performance creates more meaningful work and stronger results.
Jenn’s mission is both simple and profound: to help leaders and teams create workplaces—led with happiness and humanity—where businesses thrive, people grow, and organizations create a ripple effect of positive impact.
In 2017, Jenn served on the Global Happiness Council for Work and Wellbeing, helping shape conversations around workplace culture and employee experience. In 2020, Delivering Happiness was named to the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
Jenn led the creation of the world’s first Culture Book series at Zappos.com, an initiative that became a widely recognized model for transparent, values-driven organizations. She has been featured in outlets including Harvard Business Review, MSN, Forbes, Fortune, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, CNBC Make It, Thrive Global, and Success Magazine, SiriusXM, and New York Post, and her work has been referenced in the World Happiness Report.
Real Leaders named Jenn one of the World's Top 50 Speakers in 2023. You can find Jenn speaking at events and organizations around the globe—including PayPal, Zoom (and Zoomland), Facebook, Franklin Templeton, Lockheed Martin, Indeed, McDonald’s, World Government Summit, SHRM—or on podcasts such as Bloomberg Radio, The Atlantic, Newsweek, The (Jim) Kwik Brain, Guy Kawasaki’s Remarkable People, The Goal Digger, Hacking Your Leadership, Happen to Your Career, and The Dave Ramsey Show, working with organizations from Starbucks to Sallie Mae to create positive change in the world.
Her forthcoming book, Beyond the Bullsh*t: A Fielg Guide for Being Human (working title), picks up where happiness leaves off—because real transformation starts with getting real with ourselves first.
More often than not, you can find her starting spontaneous dance parties with friends, family, and herself.
